Automatic fire rated curtains
Kavidoors automatic fire curtains provide fire resistance of 60 and 120 minutes. They effectively limit the spread of fire and smoke, as well as thermal radiation transmission, preventing material ignition and harm to individuals.
With a vertical opening mechanism, they can be installed regardless of space constraints. These curtains are reversible, meaning they can withstand flames on both sides. Two models are available: Irrigated and Non-irrigated

Fire rated curtains: Guaranteed protection and safety
Automatic fire rated curtains operate by controlled gravity descent upon fire alarm activation, effectively containing the fire.
They are certified for up to 550 continuous usage cycles without losing functionality.
Their vertical design ensures efficient installation in compact spaces, maximizing usability.
Installation requires a lintel of 240 mm and 140 mm side space for guide rails.
These dimensions ensure optimal deployment. The system integrates easily into suspended ceilings and other structures, preserving architectural aesthetics.
Models and applications
Kavidoors offers three fire rated curtain models, all tested to contain flames and hot gases for up to 2 hours at temperatures reaching 1100°C, effectively preventing the formation of cracks or openings.
- E120 Fire rated curtain:
Made of high-performance fiberglass fabric with stainless steel reinforcement. Finished with a polyurethane coating to maintain the fabric’s properties during operation.
- EW120 Fire rated curtain:
Designed to contain flames and hot gases up to 1100°C, while reducing thermal radiation to under 15 kW/m² for 120 minutes, preserving safe zones during a fire.
- EI2 120 Fire rated curtain:
In addition to limiting thermal radiation, this model reduces heat transfer across the barrier.
Ideal for protecting people and assets by preventing fire from spreading beyond the curtain.
