Double canvas high speed doors
Kavidoors double-curtain high-speed cold room doors are specifically designed to eliminate condensation in cold storage environments with high humidity and temperatures down to -30°C. Their two 3.5 mm heated thermal curtains prevent ice formation by circulating hot air between them. Additionally, they feature a self-repairing function to ensure durability and reliable performance after impacts.

How it works
These doors consist of two insulated high-speed curtains installed in parallel within a stainless steel frame. A blower unit at the bottom circulates hot air between the curtains, creating a thermal barrier that eliminates moisture from incoming air currents and prevents ice or frost buildup.
The door is powered by twin motors, with heated guides and a thermally insulated lintel, ensuring smooth operation without frosting or curtain jams. This prevents failures in the encoder or safety photocells.

Benefits of kavidoors double-curtain high-speed doors
- Designed for high-humidity industrial environments and temperatures down to -30°C.
- 3.5 mm heated thermal curtains maintain cold chain and reduce thermal losses.
- Hot air blower distributes heat evenly in a closed circuit.
- Insulated, heated lintels and side columns prevent condensation and frost.
- Air curtain (optional) between curtains for extreme temperature gradients.
- Triple-height photocells and optional barrier sensor.
- Soft, energy-absorbing bottom edge to prevent injury.
- Dual end-of-travel switches for redundant safety.
The doors include a self-repairing system, allowing for automatic reset after impact, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. Constructed from stainless steel with heated rails, they offer long-lasting performance under heavy-duty use.
Custom-made, these doors are available in a range of RAL colors and comply with international safety and efficiency standards, ensuring optimized energy use and an uninterrupted cold chain. This makes them an ideal solution for companies looking to modernize and secure their refrigeration processes with proven operational efficiency.
